A good day starts with a healthy breakfast. And ends with a delicious evening meal with the aromatic herbal dishes created by chef Michael. And in-between, you can enjoy unforgettable experiences in the mountains of the Zillertal Alps and recharge your batteries beforehand at our Kräuterhotel Hochzillertal****.
The day begins...
From 7.30 to 10.00 a.m., our guests can enjoy homemade bread from our local baker, fresh herb products like herb cheese, herb spreads, fresh chives, cress, and more, as well as cheeses and cold cuts from local suppliers. Organic tea from the "BIOTEAQUE" tea manufacturer in various invigorating blends and coffee to wake you up are, of course, also available. We also offer options for vegan, lactose-free, and gluten-free products.
In winter, for everyone who wants to make the first tracks on the slopes with HOCHgefühl: Our early riser breakfast starts at 7.00 a.m., as the Hochzillertal cable car will take you up the mountain as early as 7.30 a.m.
Tip: Book our Hochzillertal snack box with your half-board and help yourself to the breakfast buffet for a "Tiroler Marend to go".

After a day in the mountains, we will spoil you with our 4-course herbal menu of your choice and our home-made herb bread starting at 6.00 p.m. A generous buffet of starters and salads with herb oils and vinegars accompanies the individual courses. Once a week, you can also taste the traditional Tyrolean buffet.
A culinary highlight during your holiday at the Kräuterhotel Hochzillertal**** is the 6-course wild herb menu based on fresh herbs from our herb garden which we serve once a week. Let chef Michael and his team surprise you with some aromatic herb dishes!
And to aid digestion, we recommend a wide selection of our regional brandies and herb liqueurs. Ask us and we would gladly recommend some exquisite drops!
Regionality and sustainability are a priority at our Restaurant Liebstöckl. For this reason, we source of meats from a local butcher, regional cheeses from the Zillertaler Heumilch-Sennerei Alpine dairy and fresh herbs from our own herb garden.

To ensure that our guests are fully charged with energy for a day in the mountains, we offer the chance to select items from our breakfast buffet. You can take a snack box and fill it with whatever you want, complete with a drink to take with you. Our ‘traditional Tyrolean snack to go’ with breads, cheeses and meats means that there is nothing stopping you from conquering that summit!
Book a snack box as an additional service to your half-board when you arrive for € 8.90 per day and take a box home with you as a memento of your holiday at the Kräuterhotel Hochzillertal****.

Depending on your booking, the price includes either our regional breakfast buffet or our HOCHgenuss half board. The HOCHgenuss half board includes a regional breakfast buffet, an afternoon cake selection with tea and juices, seasonal fruit, and a four-course dinner with a salad buffet.
What time is breakfast served?
Our early bird breakfast is served from 07:00 to 07:30. The regional breakfast buffet featuring fresh local produce is served from 07:30 to 10:00.
Is it possible to have breakfast on the day of arrival?
Yes, you can book the breakfast buffet for your day of arrival. Please contact us in advance.
