Our Kräuterhotel Hochzillertal is situated in a central location in the Zillertal valley in Kaltenbach, just a 20-minute drive from the motorway exit. And our hotel is just a two-minute walk from the valley station of the popular Hochzillertal skiing and hiking area.
Arriving by car
Travelling from the Inntal motorway A12, depart the motorway at the ‘Zillertal’ exit and pass through the Brettfall Tunnel. Continue along the Zillertaler Bundesstrasse B169 to Kaltenbach Süd. At the roundabout, turn left towards the valley station of the Hochzillertal ski resort, then turn right and continue along the road for a further 150 m to the Kräuterhotel Hochzillertal.
Please note that a mandatory toll payment is applicable on the Austrian motorways.
Arriving by train
When travelling on international ÖBB trains from Germany, Austria and Switzerland, travel to Jenbach in Tyrol and then change trains onto the Zillertalbahn. This runs at 30-minute intervals and will transport you to the train station in Kaltenbach. Our hotel is situated a five-minute walk from the train station. We would gladly collect you from the train station in Kaltenbach or Jenbach, on request.
