The tranquillity of the Zillertal mountains, the power of nature and the wellbeing of our guests have always been at the heart of our philosophy. During the summer months of 2026 we will therefore expand our Bathhouse KräuterSPA and enrich it with fascinating new wellness features. Stay tuned for your new home of relaxation and wellbeing!

Our new saunas
PURE INDULGENCE FOR THE BODY
A new herbal bio-sauna promotes your holistic wellbeing through gentle detoxification. Toxins and excess water are pleasantly released from the body; the selected herbs refine your skin, relax your body and have a positive effect on your health. The low temperatures and the high humidity create a pleasant warmth in which it is easy to linger. The herbal bio-sauna is particularly suitable for sensitive people who find intense heat more difficult to tolerate.
In our event sauna, we regularly offer guests herbal sauna infusions: a wonderful experience for all the senses. Soothing warmth meets the power of nature as fragrant herbs, in harmony with essential oils, ensuring deep relaxation through coordinated infusion rituals. Let us awaken the senses and bring body and mind into balance. Whether refreshing mint, calming lavender or revitalising rosemary: each infusion tells its own herbal story. Our herbal event infusions are a real highlight for all those seeking something special.
To round things off, we are also opening a new textile sauna. The pleasant temperature ensures milder sweating and is therefore particularly suitable for beginners. In addition to holistic relaxation and the positive effects on skin and circulation, the textile sauna is also ideal for gentle movement and breathing techniques.
Fragrant experience from December 2026: Look forward to herbal-infused infusions in our event sauna starting from December 10, 2026. Every Monday and Thursday at 3:30 pm, 4:30 pm and 5:30 pm, "Die Aufgiesserei" invites you to a revitalising sauna experience.

DIVE IN AND SWITCH OFF IN ULTIMATE COMFORT
Immerse yourself from head to toe in our warming Grander©-revitalised water: A new heated outdoor pool with indoor entry completes our wellness paradise, giving you tangible vitality and softness through the naturally revitalised water based on Johann Grander’s method. We invite you to enjoy soothing wellness time in the relaxation pools and let your gaze wander across the phenomenal Zillertal mountain scenery. Feel the pleasant warmth as you enter the pool, your body slowly enveloped by the warm water as you swim outside to feel the fresh air around your head while your body floats in relaxation mode.
In the afternoon we serve our herbal aperitifs in our herbal garden lounge for pure enjoyment in a glass and moments of complete wellbeing. For everyone craving a refreshing boost, we recommend the invigorating effect of the ice fountain. The cold awakens you anew and prepares you perfectly for your next sauna session.

From what age is access to the KräuterSPA wellness facility permitted?
Access to the new KräuterSPA wellness facility is permitted for guests aged 16 and over.
Is there a pool?
Yes, the new KräuterSPA wellness facility features a heated indoor-outdoor pool.
Is there a relaxation area?
Yes, the new KräuterSPA wellness facility offers a relaxation room with mountain views and an outdoor area.
Are massage and beauty treatments available?
Yes, you can book soothing massages and aromatic oil treatments at the new KräuterSPA wellness facility.
Are bathrobes, slippers and sauna towels provided in the room?
Yes, from December 2026, rooms will include a spa bag for the new KräuterSPA wellness facility, with two lounger towels, two bath towels and two bathrobes. Slippers can be hired at reception for a fee of €2.50.
Is there a private spa?
No, the Kräuterhotel Hochzillertal does not have a private spa area; however, the Junior Suite Lavendel with infrared cabin features a private Swiss stone pine infrared cabin in the room.
Is a day spa open to external guests?
No, the wellness area and the new KräuterSPA wellness facility at the Kräuterhotel Hochzillertal are exclusively available to our guests.
Does the hotel offer fitness facilities?
Yes, the hotel features a fitness room with TECHNOGYM equipment, including cross trainers, a bike and a treadmill.
