The Kräuterhotel Hochzillertal can be reached by car via the A12 Inntal motorway, exit Zillertal at Wiesing, then along the B169 to Ried im Zillertal, or by train to Jenbach with a connection on the Zillertal Railway to Kaltenbach/Stumm. We are happy to arrange pick-up from the station on request.

Check-out is by 10:00 on the day of departure. Late check-out is available on request, subject to availability.
Are free parking spaces available at the hotel?
Yes, there is plenty of free parking available at the hotel.
Is there a garage at the hotel?
Yes, the hotel has a free car park.
Can I arrive by motorcycle?
Are there electric vehicle charging stations at the hotel?
Yes, there are two e-charging stations for electric cars in our underground car park (for a fee).
Is there a bicycle storage room?
Are there facilities for charging e-bikes?
Yes, e-bikes can be charged in our bike storage room.
Is there a ski storage room with a ski boot dryer?
No, the Kräuterhotel Hochzillertal does not have a ski room. However, a complimentary ski depot is available at the valley station of the Hochzillertal cable cars at Sport Stock, including automatic ski and glove drying and disinfection. Access is only possible with your ski pass, ensuring protection against theft and mix-ups.

How large are the rooms?
Are there rooms with connecting doors?
Yes, there are two suites with a connecting door. We are also happy to accommodate your request for rooms next to each other.
Are the rooms air-conditioned?
No, the rooms at the Kräuterhotel Hochzillertal are not air-conditioned due to the alpine location in the Zillertal.
Are dogs or pets allowed in the hotel?
No, dogs and other pets are not allowed at the Kräuterhotel Hochzillertal.

The new KräuterSPA wellness facility offers a heated indoor-outdoor pool, a Finnish sauna with infusion rituals, a herbal bio sauna, a steam bath, a textile sauna, an infrared relaxation room with Swiss stone pine, a cold-water plunge, an ice fountain, a rain shower, a mountain-view relaxation room with outdoor area, and Kräuterhotel Hochzillertal aroma oils and KräuterSPA whey-based products.
From what age is access to the KräuterSPA wellness facility permitted?
Access to the new KräuterSPA wellness facility is permitted for guests aged 16 and over.
Is there a relaxation area?
Yes, the new KräuterSPA wellness facility offers a relaxation room with mountain views and an outdoor area.
Are massage and beauty treatments available?
Yes, you can book soothing massages and aromatic oil treatments at the new KräuterSPA wellness facility.
Are bathrobes, slippers and sauna towels provided in the room?
Yes, from December 2026, rooms will include a spa bag for the new KräuterSPA wellness facility, with two lounger towels, two bath towels and two bathrobes. Slippers can be hired at reception for a fee of €2.50.
Is there a private spa?
No, the Kräuterhotel Hochzillertal does not have a private spa area; however, the Junior Suite Lavendel with infrared cabin features a private Swiss stone pine infrared cabin in the room.
Is a day spa open to external guests?
No, the wellness area and the new KräuterSPA wellness facility at the Kräuterhotel Hochzillertal are exclusively available to our guests.
Does the hotel offer fitness facilities?
Yes, the hotel features a fitness room with TECHNOGYM equipment, including cross trainers, a bike and a treadmill.
Does the hotel provide baby cots?
Yes, we are happy to provide a baby cot for a fee of €25.00.
Are children’s high chairs available in the restaurant?
Does the hotel offer a baby monitor service?
No, a baby monitor service is not offered at the Kräuterhotel Hochzillertal.
From what age do children pay?
When sharing a room with two full-paying adults, children aged 0–2 are charged €25.00 per day (bed and breakfast). Discounts apply as follows: ages 3–5 receive 60%, 6–12 years 35%, 13–15 years 15%, and from 16 years 10%.
Are there child-friendly dishes available in the restaurant?
Yes, we offer a selection of children’s dishes on the menu at Restaurant Liebstöckl.
What leisure activities are available for children in the surrounding area?
Are there family rooms?
Yes, the hotel offers a selection of double rooms, junior suites and suites, with space for up to four guests.
Do guests receive a free guest card on arrival?
Yes, guests receive a complimentary guest card upon check-in at reception, valid for the duration of their stay. Guests also have the option to purchase the Zillertal Aktivcard for an additional fee.

Located just 250 metres from the Hochzillertal-Hochfügen ski and hiking area, the hotel is the perfect base for scenic hikes and unforgettable ski days. The surrounding region also offers a wide range of activities, including cycling, golf, tennis, swimming lakes and fishing.

What services are included in the price?
The price includes either a regional breakfast buffet or HOCHgenuss half board, use of the wellness area, parking or underground car park, bike storage, a ski depot at the Hochzillertal valley station, Wi-Fi, KräuterSPA whey-based toiletries in the room, and, for direct bookings, travel cancellation insurance on request.
What is the hotel’s cancellation policy?
The general Austrian hotel contract conditions apply in the event of cancellation. Please note that for cancellations from the date of booking up to 30 days before arrival, a processing fee of €100.00 will be charged.
How much is the local tax?
The local tax is €2.60 per person per night from the age of 15 and is charged separately on site.
What payment methods are accepted?
We accept cashless payments with Visa, Mastercard, AMEX, Diners Club, JCB or Maestro (EC).
Is a deposit required?
Yes, to secure your booking, a 35% deposit is required, payable 30 days after the booking date.
Does the hotel offer travel cancellation insurance?
Yes, when booking directly, we are happy to offer travel cancellation insurance on request.
