The "Bewusst Tirol" initiative of the Province of Tyrol and Agrarmarketing Tirol promotes the use of local food in hotels and restaurants. Its aim is to strengthen cooperation between agriculture and tourism. The "Bewusst Tirol" award is given to participating businesses that distinguish themselves through their high use of local products. At the same time, the award serves as a guide for guests who place great value on regional produce in their culinary experience.
