Just a two-minute walk from our hotel, your perfect day on the slopes begins. The Hochzillertal cable cars take you directly up to the Hochzillertal – Hochfügen ski area, where 91 kilometres of perfectly groomed pistes await you. Whether you're a beginner or an experienced skier, there is a suitable piste for everyone, while freeriders will also find plenty of opportunities to enjoy the untouched terrain.
If you'd rather leave your skis behind, snowshoeing, tobogganing and cross-country skiing offer plenty of opportunities to explore the snow-covered mountains of the Zillertal. Including plenty of worthwhile places to stop for refreshments.

Located just 250 metres from the Hochzillertal-Hochfügen ski and hiking area, the hotel is the perfect base for scenic hikes and unforgettable ski days. The surrounding region also offers a wide range of activities, including cycling, golf, tennis, swimming lakes and fishing.
What leisure activities are available at the hotel?
Do guests receive a free guest card on arrival?
Yes, guests receive a complimentary guest card upon check-in at reception, valid for the duration of their stay. Guests also have the option to purchase the Zillertal Aktivcard for an additional fee.
Is there a bicycle storage room?
Yes, there is a secure, lockable bike storage room. The Kräuterhotel Hochzillertal is a certified bike-friendly hotel, offering excellent facilities for cyclists such as secure bike storage, a washing area and a dedicated bike information area.
Is there a bicycle rental near the hotel?
Are there facilities for charging e-bikes?
Yes, e-bikes can be charged in our bike storage room.
Is there ski hire available near the hotel?
Yes, you can hire your ski equipment at Sport Stock directly at the valley station of the Hochzillertal cable car or at Sport Eller. From 07:30 to 18:00, you can use your ski pass to access the ski depot at Sport Stock and store your equipment free of charge, safely and conveniently.
Is there a ski storage room with a ski boot dryer?
No, the Kräuterhotel Hochzillertal does not have a ski room. However, a complimentary ski depot is available at the valley station of the Hochzillertal cable cars at Sport Stock, including automatic ski and glove drying and disinfection. Access is only possible with your ski pass, ensuring protection against theft and mix-ups.
