Indulgence in the Zillertal: Delicacies from the herb kitchen at Liebstöckl

Half-board at the Kräuterhotel Hochzillertal: Gourmet bliss from morning to night

A good day on a culinary holiday in the Zillertal begins with a healthy breakfast. And ends with a delicious dinner featuring the aromatic herb dishes created by our chef Michael. In between are unforgettable experiences in the mountains of the Zillertal Alps, for which you can refuel at our 4-star Kräuterhotel Hochzillertal. At our hotel with half-board in the Zillertal, enjoyment, regional produce and seasonal ingredients take centre stage.

The day begins …

Enjoy the flavours of herbs at breakfast

From 7.30 to 10.00 am, our guests can enjoy homemade bread from our local baker, fresh herbal products such as herb curd, herb spread, fresh chives, fresh cress and more, as well as cheese and cold meats from local producers every day. Bio tea from the "BIOTEAQUE" tea manufactory in many invigorating varieties and coffee to wake you up are, of course, also a must. We also offer a wide range of vegan, lactose-free and gluten-free products for breakfast.

All year round, we offer an early-bird breakfast from 7.00 am for anyone who wants to hit the first slopes or set off on a hike feeling refreshed. As the Hochzillertal cable car takes you up the mountain from as early as 7.30 am in winter, while in summer you can enjoy the mountain in the cool morning air.

Tip: Add our Hochzillertal Jausenbox to your half-board and help yourself at the breakfast buffet to create a hearty "Tyrolean Marend to go".

... and ends at Restaurant Liebstöckl

Indulgence at dinner

After a day in the mountains, we treat you to our 4-course herbal choice menu and homemade herb bread from 6.00 pm onwards. A varied starter and salad buffet with herbal oils and vinegars accompanies the individual courses.

The culinary highlight of your holiday at the 4-star Kräuterhotel Hochzillertal, however, is our 6-course wild herb menu featuring fresh herbs from our herb garden, which we serve once a week. Let chef Michael and his team surprise you with their aromatic herb dishes!

To aid digestion, we recommend our large selection of regional schnapps and herbal liqueurs. Please feel free to ask us – we are delighted to recommend a fine tipple.
Regional produce and sustainability are also very important to us at our Restaurant Liebstöckl. That is why we source our meat products from the local butcher, regional cheese from the Zillertal Heumilch dairy and fresh herbs from our own herb garden
