Cross-country skiing in the Zillertal valley
The extensive, sunny Zillertal valley bottom offers the perfect conditions for cross-country skiing in a snowy winter landscape. Over 50 km of ideally prepared cross-country trails in the valley and in Hochfügen as well as guaranteed snow and a network of well signposted trails ensure moments of pure enjoyment during your cross-country holiday. Several sports stores nearby the hotel offer advice, the hire and sale of the right cross-country equipment and everything you could need for a hassle-free holiday – whether as a beginner or high-performance athlete and whether skate or classic style.
Racing downhill
Sledging and more in the Zillertal valley
Speedy fun on two blades is offered by the toboggan runs in Hainzenberg (7km), Spieljoch (5.5km) and Fügen (3.3km). All you need to bring is suitable clothing as sledges can be hired on-site. Other activities in the snowy nature also await during your winter holiday in the Zillertal valley including numerous artificial ice rinks in Strass, Fügen, Kaltenbach and Stumm. A visit to the ‘Erlebnistherme Zillertal’ thermal spa offers some welcome variety with its experiences pool, wellness pool, outdoor saltwater pool, sauna world and more.
